A few weeks ago, we talked about my dancing black duck. I asked you to send in videos of you dancing, and you answered the call! Thank goodness too, because I really didn’t want to be on video dancing for four minutes all by myself. This video is you, me, and all of our awesomeness!
For those of you who don’t know what this is about, please go read that post. Then, SEND ME A VIDEO OF YOU DANCING! Let’s make this an SDL tradition. Whether you dance like Timberlake or you dance like me, send a 10-30 second clip over and be a part of the next one!

I'm not allowed to dance:) My son yells at me if I dance or sing, even if it's just the 2 of us! He says I'm embarassing him! I'm not a totally sucky dancer either. I danced for years in high school, in 2" heels and sang too. He's just a little booger!! LOL.

Somehow I missed this one too. So much fun!!! Dancing is one of the best joys in life, & my boys (17 & 10) & I frequently break out in spontaneous dances. :D

Ha! Love this! My 2 year old would make me watch it over and over all night if I didn't drag him kicking and screaming away from the computer to bed. He doesn't dance along--just stares in awe. Studying, I suppose :)

Oh man, it's so nasty ...Loving in Germany, I cannot watch wagonloads of videos on YouTube, as they use copyrighted music that blocked in my home country by GEMA (the German royalty fee office). And this video of yours is one of them, as I just realized. Bummed out :-( ...

Dan...you rock! I keep trying to articulate what I absolutely love about your blog, but I think part of it is that you manage to help us all find the beauty in everyone. This post is no exception. Even though it was to highlight our "black duck"...it still manages to focus on the amazing individuality and beauty of all kinds of different people. I totally do not have a video of me dancing since I was about 5, but I have a story I have to share... When I was in high school my group of friends had a "hall" that no one ever came in so we hung out there on lunch hour... well one day one of the guys said "Hey lets have a dance party, but only people from our hall are invited..." it was fun until one guy started doing the whole knee to the elbow dance move (I have no idea what its called) but he used his forehead and his knee... It only took twice before he connected... broke his nose and bled all over the hall... we had to invite some outsiders to get the blood cleaned up, but it sure was fun!
Still hadn't found batteries for my camera or even the camera. We tried the phone but it doesn't like me either. I will not give up. :-) you will get that video even if it kills me. lol.

I smiled all the way through--everyone had joy in what they were doing. I don't know who told you you were a bad dancer, but s/he was wrong.
I loved every second of it :) My favorite is the break dancing guy in the blue shirt, but everyone was perfectly themselves :)
What a great video! My 2 year old son loves it! When it ends he keeps pressing the space bar to make it play again. I have a feeling I am gonna be sick of this song by the end of the day, lol!
