Finally, my favorite post of the week! Every Sunday I take some of the photos that you have uploaded to the Facebook wall, and I post them here. I love This is Beautiful You because it gives me (and everybody else) an incredible glimpse of who we all are. It puts a face on the awesome people coming here. It gives us a beautiful idea of the uniqueness and diversity of the followers here at SDL. More than anything, it shows all of us just how beautiful we each can be.
Anyway, thank you for sharing a small part of yourselves. It’s my honor to put the spotlight on you today. This is beautiful you.

| So, I gave my mom’s submission number one spot! She deserves it! |
If you’d like to send in photos to be considered for Sunday’s “This is beautiful you” and other future blog posts, please post them on the Facebook wall (we need lots more!). Sorry, emailed photos will not be considered. Only upload photos that you don’t mind me using, and that you have the rights to. The photos can be of yourself, or you with anybody that you love or are close to (kids, friends, significant others, parents, siblings, whoever!).
I wish I could post them all today. If your photo didn’t make it, check back next week! The picking process is 100% random.

PS. If you like this Sunday tradition, please share this page. Let’s make a lot of people happy today. We’d also love to have you find a way to follow us. We have a lot of fun around here.

I almost missed this! My hubby is the one hugging all of his babies *4 in the photo* We are expecting our 7th baby now. :-)
Thank you for helping to connect people. It is truly a wonderful thing you do. These photos are beautiful.

Thanks for posting the picture of my brother (in the Ohio State shirt), my sister and me. My brother died of a heart attack while on a mission trip in Hawaii last year. The world is a little dimmer without his smile.
Lawnmower father and son:)
I want you to know that this "Beautiful You" segment always brings me back to your blog. Thanks for the smile!

I love the one of the dad throwing his son in the air. It is an adorable picture! :)
Without a doubt, the grinning guy with a newborn--looks like a new dad or uncle to me. And there's nothing sweeter. :)
For a few seconds there I thought one of those gals was my sister-in-law, and I was wondering just who in the heck the kid was in the photo with her...
My recent post Moments with Joey – Music Time on Friday
There were a few that definitely made me smile this morning! :) First was the dad throwing the little boy up in the air. Second was the little boy being pushed on the swing; his face is so cute! Third is the little boy following behind his dad as the dad mows the lawn. I think I like that last one best! It reminds me of when I was really little and I'd do the same to my dad - except I'm not a boy and I used my fisher price bubble lawn mower and really thought I was helping to mow the lawn! lol
My favorites are the one with the kid following his dad mowing the lawn and the last one. The look on the dad's face is great.
Dan,
Thank you so much for using our photo. Mine is the "Packer" daddy with our baby girl Bella on the beach! Thanks for the smile today!
I love the dad's face in the last photo. It brings tears to my eyes to see how proud and joyful he is.
The one of your mom and the kids. We finally got a picture of our whole family last week. One grandson has his back to the camera. Another has his face cover. I take a horrible pic, but it's beautiful of my sons and their families. My oldest is headed to Afghanistan this month, so it was important to get a picture because it will be a while before the whole family is together again. Your blog is a little slice of sunshine. Thanks for the hard work you do to bring it to us.

Yay! I made it on this week! That's me in the red 'Warwick Academy' shirt, with my cousin (who's multi-racial) and my big brother :D.
Lovin the dad with the boys on the red couch, how cute are they?
My recent post she was an Irish women
Love the kids with their daddies - every one
all of them!
I think this may be the first week where I cannot pick a clear favorite! Do I choose the adorable little boy holding on to his lawn mowing father? The last picture in line of the clearly amazed and proud papa holding a bundle of joy?
I think what I might like the most is the fact that I can fill in the back story in my head. The couple with all the little ones crossing the river? An amazing couple out with all their kids, and the nieces and nephews - they took all the small ones in their families out for an entire day in order to give their own siblings an entire day off from parenting so they have time to re-connect. (At least in my head, that is the story)
The two women cutting the cake could either be best of friends that happen to have birthdays very near one another, and they celebrate them together, or they could be a couple - celebrating a milestone in their relationship with beloved friends and family surrounding them in love.
It is like every Sunday, I have many people watching stories delivered directly to me. Tanks, Dan!
I love seeing this every week! I love them all. My favorite has to be to lil guy walking exactly like dad behind the lawn mower. Precious!!

I loved the photo with the little boy being thrown in the air and the one with the little boy in the swing. I have a great photo for next week... :)
Love the twins, the little dude in the swing, and the mama with the babe on her back - but they are all huggly snuggly pix!
I love your Sunday posts! :D
Makes starting the week with a smile that much easier :D
Thanks!

Your mom has the coolest nana camps on the planet. She should have posted the ones from the sleepover camp! Too terrific. My favorite today was the grandpa pushing the boy in the swing. Joy.

omg, that last photo is priceless. Love it
Yay my pic made it this week :D The one with the red sandstone rocks and the Navajo man-unfortunately he is no longer on the earth with us, but he was my first true love and was a truly beautiful person. All of you out there reading this, make sure to tell those you love that you love them-because it may be the last thing you ever say to them.
Toss up between the dad and baby, dad hugging all of his kiddos, and dad mowing lawn with son following. Excellent round of pics this week. All precious!
LOVE the lawnmower one!

I disagree with this quote on your fb page! It can happen, I promise! Anyway - I love beautiful you and think it's a great thing you do! Love your blog.
The little boy behind his father pushing the lawn mower...how much they want to be like their daddies!
The Packer daddy with his angel on the beach is absolutely precious...and I love the look on the daddy's face in the last photo, too! :)
Alicia, Thank you :) I'm sitting here with tears running down my face.. That Packer Daddy is my husband.. and the angel's name is Bella! We visited lake Erie and she had never seen such "big water" .. it was a beautiful day!
