We’ve been hard at work here at Single Dad Laughing. Hard at work, that is, being overly silly and dorky. With all the hiking I’ve been doing with my insane friends over the summer, something like this was bound to happen…
I present to you, Single Dad Laughing’s first short film (buckle up, it’s 1/2 an hour long). Enjoy. And please, if it makes you laugh, share it!
Dan Pearce, Single Dad Laughing
PS. Did you like it? Did it make you laugh? Would you like to see more randomness from our little group? What was your favorite part of the film?
Also, if you want to share the direct link to the video on YouTube, here it is:

I did make it through most of the video but had to have a long lie down afterwards!
Dan, you're a freak! Hilarious! Made me laugh. Love your sense of humor!
Second time I've got to see it.. still makes me laugh. and cringe in embarrassment for ya ;)
LOVED the rock scene! Dave's "worshipping" was hilarious.
I only made it through the first 5 minutes. Short attention span. However, the "grumpy"/"not grumpy" discussion made me laugh.
I can't watch it through because it's made me feel really nauseous. :(
I guess it really IS all about the journey, not the destination!
You guys are awesome! My two favorite parts are when Dan and Wendy were far behind and you kept saying that they, Dave and Jamie, maybe didn't realize how far ahead they were. And my very favorite part is when everyone started running from Dan when he was trying to catch up. Call me silly but I still think it is funny when you go to get into the car and the driver moves it just a few feet so this is right up with that relm of hilarity.
Definitely made me laugh! LOVED it!
That was great!!!! I especially loved the "strong wind" that knocked you over. So, how many times did you fall? Er, uh, I mean, get back up? .....lol
The views were gorgeous! I would have liked to have seen more of those! I think my most favorite part was Dave on the rock. He really got into the spirit of trying to find enlightenment. I'm with you Dan on thinking there is no magic in the world, but I hope that someday I will witness some and be proven wrong. :) Looks like a great day with friends. Thanks for sharing!
So Dan & crew... I am so sorry you spent an entire day on a fruitless quest for the 'Stone of Enlightenment.' However, I am willing to share with you my map to the 'Stream of Instruction.' It is not as simple a journey as the one you have already taken but I assure it would be well worth the effort for when you follow the stream it will lead you past the 'Cliff of Comprehension' (approach with caution) and ultimately to the hidden 'Lake of Edification.' There one can bathe in the cool waters and literally soak in instruction, knowledge and wisdom. All this I am willing to impart to you for the simple fee of a role in your next film!
Haha. Now that would be entertainment!
Bahahaha Lime disease is from limes!
Loved it!! You guys are hilarious! :)
Hey Dan - I'm thinking walking with a video camera probably wasn't the best Idea. LoL But your right its not about how many times you fall, it's about how many times to get back up and dust yourself off. :)
Love it! The music is fantastic. So how many times did you get back up again?
