I have made an executive decision that Saturdays shall hereby be named “Buddah’s Day” here on Single Dad Laughing! Poor Buddha hasn’t gotten enough attention ’round these digital parts since he joined our family, and I think it’s time we change that. So, every Saturday I’m going to post anywhere from one to a zillion of my favorite Buddha pics from the week. After all, what’s better than a fat , lazy, gassy, wrinkly, high-spirited-low-energy Bulldog doing whatever it is he feels like doing?
Today’s pics are called “Autum Chillin’”
Ever since the temperature started cooling down, Buddha hasn’t been too interested in coming inside the house. At least not when the sun is out. He loves to find big piles of leaves, plop himself down, and just… chill.
Here’s Buddha. Chillin’ in the Autumn Leaves.
"Oh great, here's Dan with his freaking camera again. I just want to enjoy this nice fall weather without the paparazzi interrupting me!
"Wait, do I smell hotdogs? Dude, do you have hotdogs?"
"Dude, I know you have hotdogs. I smell 'em!"
"I saw your hotdogs. And now I'm gonna stare at you until you give me one. I don't care if it takes all day, buddy."
And that… is Buddha, chillin’ in the autumn leaves. Doing what Buddha does.

Buddha is the cutest love Buddha's Day! I just adopted a pug this past week & am sharing some of her royal cuteness this week on my blog. Love the leaves, does Buddha jump in leaves? I totally would make a huge pile of leaves for Buddha.
funny.. I was being followed in autumn leaves by the paparazzi today too.. only I was in stilettos. And probablyabout as graceful as Buddha....

@Single Dad Laughing Yep, for sure! My Riley likes to go out and soak up the sun, then come in and lay on the cool floor inside, forth and back all day! Usually in summer this isn't a problem as the patio door can stay open with the curtains keeping out the bugs, but this year our swamp cooler wasn't working, so we used the AC - the doors had to be closed - and it was quite the issue!!! Winter is certainly another story of the same variety... in, out, in, out... lol!!! I try to be responsive, because I love him to pieces and it's seems he behaves better and has less anxiety when I respect his needs, but sometimes... sheesh!!! haha! If only I had a place for a doggie door!!!

He's so cute and funny - almost makes me want a dog. Okay, maybe not. I do think my tot gives me the same look when she wants a hot dog too!

Yay, I think this is the best idea. I love hearing about Buddha, mostly because I'm so happy you and Noah eventually found the right dog to fit your lifestyle after all that work!Plus, come on, that bulldog face is too cute.
