I swear summer came and went so quickly this year. I have a few “summer” posts that for some reason or another I never put together during the season. So, this is the first of those posts. I’ll probably post the others in the next few weeks. Or maybe I’ll wait until the dead of winter so that I can really relive the hot, sunshiny days once more. Anyways…

Noah’s First Swim Lesson

I don’t want to brag, but I will. My kid is pretty much the next Michael Phelps. But you don’t have to take my word for it. I’ve got photographic evidence to back it up.

I really did love his two swim teachers. I couldn’t believe how structured and effective the swim lessons were. I thought all they’d do is teach kids to splash their arms and legs around until they eventually move somewhere, but apparently swimming is a little more than that. At least it is when you’re four. I’ll stick to the splashing my arms and legs in hopes that it takes me to where I want to go.

PS. Did your kids take swim lessons this year? What’s your favorite part of swim lessons? Mine would have to be the 30 minutes of “tan time” for Dad!
