@Single Dad Laughing Its my favorite meal of ALL TIME.... DELICIOUS!!!! Id know those kinda fingers Anywhere!!! Chicken Fried Steak is the same thing, just a matter of what you call it :) Although if you order Chicken fried Steak in a restaurant its not NEARLY the same, homemade is the only way to go, with mashed taters, gravy and green beans!!!
@Single Dad Laughing Its called both here in SW Missouri, but ive grown up calling it Fried Round Steak or just plain Round Steak.. i had no idea it was a CUT of meat until i got old enough to shop on my own, lol
@Single Dad Laughing @BlueRobin I am pretty sure they are the same, just called different things in different parts of the country. I am from Ohio, originally and my grandma made us "round steak", when I moved to NC someone made me "chicken fried steak" and it was the same thing. Both things are made from the same cut of beef and prepared the same way as well. So, I am fairly certain they are one in the same. :-)
I'm going to go with something batter fried. Fish or chicken. If it was bread or biscuits, the whole hand would be thick with dough, not just the fingertips.
