Okay, remember a few weeks back when I told you all about how Samantha and I found Bigfoot? Well… in case you thought it was real… it wasn’t.
But on Saturday, I found the real Bigfoot.
His name is Daniel and he’s my cousin. Errr… my second cousin. Errr… I don’t know. Maybe my third cousin once removed? I have no idea how it all works.
All I know is that we met up at our family reunion, this kid is 15 years old, and he made my size 14 shoes look like baby booties.
Crazy thing is… he’s still growing.
That’s one big dude.
Which is weird, cause he was so little the last time I remember seeing him only two years ago.

Okay... if you have the same grandparents, you are cousins (i.e. your parents are siblings). If you have the same great-grandparents, you are second-cousins (i.e. your parents' cousins have kids? they are your second-cousins). Same great-great grandparents = third cousins. THAT part is pretty easy, right? (lol, make a "tree" if illustrations help)
Well ... your cousin's child would be YOUR first cousin once removed (i.e. they're one generation away from being your first cousin). Note that this child and your child would then be second cousins. And, it continues down the generations. Your cousin's grandchild is your first cousin twice removed. Your grandchild and your cousin's grandchild are third cousins.
Clear as mud, right? (Seriously, the illustration would help :D )
My big bro. is a size 14 but it works since he's six foot seven! I come from a tall family!
Kim, holy smokes! His are big but not that big!
Dang! Where in the world do you guys get your shoes?!
It's not always easy, which is why I usually have to squeeze into a 13!
My 7 year old son has bigger feet than me. I can only imagine the trajectory...EEK!

A friend of mine in high school has size 21 feet. What's your cousin got? :)
