I don’t think it’s a state secret that the content here on Single Dad Laughing is often all over the place. One day I’m telling stories about boogers; the next I’m discussing social injustices as I see them. In fact, while getting all of this together, I’ve counted no fewer than 13 different major topics, from dating, to humor, to poetry, to parenting.

And so, I’ve made it possible for you to follow and/or subscribe to just the topics that interest you most, including subscribing to only the most popular posts if that’s what floats your boat.

So first, if you haven’t been to the blog for a while and you’d like to catch up on the blog posts that interest you most, simply go to the blog menu above, hover over “recent posts,” and then choose a category. You’ll see all of the most recent posts that fit into the categories you visit.

Second, if you want to subscribe to and be notified only of the categories that interest you most, I’ve setup a separate RSS feed and the ability to subscribe via email for every major category. This means if you only want the funny funny, you only get the funny funny. If you only want the heavier stuff, you only get the heavier stuff. You can subscribe to one, some, most, or all of them. Just remember, there are some posts that don’t fit into any of these categories, so if you don’t want to miss anything, subscribe to RSS or via email to my entire blog (which, let’s be honest, nobody could blame you for wanting to do).

Click here to see all the categories and subscribe via RSS or daily email updates. In the future, you can always get to this page via the blog menu.

Anyway… thanks for being here through the thick and the thin. Hopefully this makes it even better for you!

Dan Pearce, Single Dad Laughing

PS. Does this help you at all? Are there any categories you enjoy on SDL that I don’t have listed?

Nah,  I won't filter posts... I might miss something awesome!

Besides, I actually like the randomness. Being Bipolar, it's kind of my "normal". LOL

i prefer your serious work, but occassionally i'm in the mood to roll my eyes at some weird-o humor....so i wont filter, i like being able to pick and choose...

I always enjoy seeing a post. I agree it is the randomness that makes us all find a bit of ourselves!
