A fire on the Alpine Mountains (in the very place that the upcoming rescue post takes place) is racing toward my parents’ home. Let’s hope the night winds are kind to us. We were watching the fire from the yard but were evacuated a couple hours ago, so we don’t know what’s going on right now.
