Finally, my favorite post of the week! Every Saturday night or Sunday morning I take some of the photos that you have uploaded to the Facebook wall, and I post them here. I love This is Beautiful You because it gives me (and everybody else) an incredible glimpse of who we all are. It puts a face on the awesome people coming here. It gives us a beautiful idea of the uniqueness and diversity of the followers here at SDL. More than anything, it shows all of us just how beautiful we each can be.
Anyway, thank you for sharing a small part of yourselves. It’s my honor to put the spotlight on you today. This is beautiful you.

Without a doubt, Jennifer Johnson. She has so much strength and beauty, and stands up for what she believes in. She's a very caring person. As sisters close in age growing up, we didn't particularly like each other but we always loved each other. I now have the pleasure of doing both. She's my best friend, my mom's first child, and now a mother of her own little gem.

The word beautiful does not even begin to describe this wonder filled women. She is loving to everyone, patient when you need it the most and I have had the wonderful pleasure of calling her mother for the past 28 years. Libby Britton-tardio. She shows me everyday how to be a better mother, daughter and person in general. I would not be the beautiful person I am today with out the worlds best example. My mom.

Mike Gladding is the most beautiful people I know. He doesn't have a selfish bone in his body. He used to be a volunteer paramedic for a very rural community. For several years he was the only paramedic needless to say he would get up and go even when he wasn't on call. He is so good to patients in the back of an ambulance. Its amazing to watch him. I'm very fortunate to have such a kind, gentle man as my husband.

Manuela Gonzalez Manuela Gonzalez is a BEAUTIFUL person. She is the kind of person that has everyone over for dinner, will come & have coffee with you, go with you to the hospital if you need it or gripes out that guy that just yelled at your kid for digging in the sand at the beach. She coaches all kinds of kids sports teams & will keep an eye on your kids any time you ask. She's a great mom, a great friend & has a huge heart. She also ran to be by my side, and help pick me up off the floor (literally) when they came to tell me that my husband was killed on his way home from Iraq. She cleaned, cooked, helped care for my boys, held my hand, cried with me, and walked every step of the way with me. She even left her, at the time 4 children & recently returned from Iraq husband to escort me & my boys home from Germany. She stayed with me through the all the details of the funeral & a while after too. She has been my friend for 8 years & I think she is one of the most beautiful people I have ever known

I don't think she would appreciate being tagged, but my mum is definitely the most beautiful person I know. For all she has been through in her own childhood, she has only ever loved me and siblings unconditionally, so much so you would have never known the struggles she has survived.
Michelle Schilling is the best, kindest, sweetest, and most fun gal that another gal could ever wish for in a best friend! She is like a sister to me, her husband is a great friend, and her children are the best nephew and niece that any person could ever want (I may be a little biased here). I love that she is always there for me, and that she gets who I am and loves me for me. Thank you girl!

Drove away from my first born, my only son yesterday, as he begins his new life at college....It is heartbreaking, but incredibly beautiful at the exact same time.........
Okay, giving mad props here to my BFF Stacey Renée Sparks Lazurek, who just started law school this week to make a difference in this world, and to give the voiceless not only a voice but hope for the future. She's always been beautiful to me, and to her family, and I can't wait for the rest of the world to discover it too!
