Oh my goodness.
I saw that I had a voicemail from Noah’s mom , and when I listened to it, all I heard was this.
Sweetest, thing, ever. I’ve never gotten a voicemail from Noah before. I hope you can understand it. If not, I’ve transcribed it below.
And of course, any kid who asks like that is probably going to get what he wants. I’m a sucker for fun. Haha.
Dan Pearce, Single Dad Laughing
PS. Transcribed:
“He said… My daddy said leave me a message. Cause like, I call him, he says”
“Do you want to leave him a message?”
“How do I leave him a message?”
“You can leave him a message right now.”
“Daddy, I wish I could do karate, would that be fun?”

My oldest is on the Autism Spectrum, and the first time I got a voice mail, between inflection, cadence, and wording, I knew that he'd been listening to me leave messages. I played it back for my girlfriend, and she nearly spit out her drink because she was laughing so hard.
Aw that's sweet. It almost makes up for the "Seriously traumatized by food" post and some of the comments...almost. ;)
Seriously it's very precious moment when you get a first time Voicemail from the child. Parting away from the loved one, one has really hard time and fall easily prey to empty nest syndrome.
That IS the sweetest thing ever.......
That really may be the sweetest thing ever.
I still have the first voicemail message my grandson left for me saved on my phone. I call it every so often to listen to his sweet voice when I miss him. :)
Oh no, he's got you wrapped around his little finger now!!!! So, so cute. And yes, a proud Daddy moment! Don't worry, he'll be leaving many of these voicemail messages...especially as a teenager!
love!
Oh that is so adorable! I kept a voice message from my nephew that he left a few weeks ago. Hes only two and it's just so friggin' adorable!
That was so adorable. I read the transcript yesterday, but listened to it today. Cutest thing I've heard in a long time.

Oh my goodness. That is soo cute!! Dad, take him to karate!
I understand, our daughter was with me at work last week and sent a fax over to her dad where he works. Lol, daughter's first fax to dad.

I love little kid voicemails! My nephew left one the other day. He said "Do you have belt?" click . It was so random
Oh no... that's cute even when I'm not his dad!!
Haha! That is so cute! Love it!
so cute!
so cute!
its adorable! When my girls were real little, they called me from my home office phone and left a voicemail on my work phone. I saved it and listen to it when I need a pick me up or when I want to hear their sweet little baby voices. They grow so fast.... Enjoy!
My daughter just got her own cell phone. She likes to text me. So she texted me, "I love you." Then, "I see you." Then, "I'm hungry."
Enjoy!
Those are always the sweetest messages. :)
LOL - that is cute! And it reminds me of my FIL's message when we first got an answering machine many years ago "It says to leave a message! I'm not talking to a stupid machine! Why don't they answer?" Then he hung up! (prob not exact cuz it was a while ago but you get the drift!)
I think maybe you have to have kids to think this is cute/funny. Lol. But glad you love your son! :)
Lol. Awesome.
So cute!!
So cute!!
Hahaha that was so cute
Adorable! I'm a 3rd degree black belt in karate and I wish my little one wanted to do karate too! Going through it together would be fun! That's what me and my 6 year old (now 18 year old) son did. He enjoyed that mommy did karate with him.
He is just the cutest thing ever!
Haaaa!! That is cute. Clever little guy.

Very cute! Those squeaky voices are the best.
That's adorable!!
Nope, it's not just you. Cuteness meter says "Very Cute" on this one! Save them all, I use them as blackmail now! ;-)
Precious!
Precious!
Aww come on!!! Let the little guy do karate! lol That is really cute. None of my kids have left me voicemail yet, but being a stay at home mom means that unless they are at school, I'm with them... Noah has a cute little voice to match his cute little face.
Um, you need to hurry up and get that cutie karate lessons going dad :)
Adorable!!
Who could say no, with that kind of plea? Adorable!

You DID say, "yes", didn't you? LOL It's been so much fun watching both you and Noah grow over the past few years.
