Do you ever bump into a random person and think, how cool is that?!

I do. I don’t ever have to talk to them. I don’t have to ever expect to see them again. They don’t even have to acknowledge that I exist. I still sometimes think, how cool is that?!

I mean, how cool is it that you bumped into that person? Do you realize how that moment was made?

It was made in every choice and every action that you and the other person made over the course of your entire lives and up to that point in time.

In other words, you both made the exact string of choices and decisions that brought you to the exact same place at the exact same time.

I feel like that’s pretty significant yet hardly anyone notices.

The bum and the rich man who bump into each other… their life choices and decisions, as different as they were, led them to each other in that moment in time.

The school teacher and the criminal.

The scientist and the priest.

The widow and the widower.

The celebrity and the flower shop owner.

The happy and the depressed.

The singer and the silent.

The people who bump into each other, they pass by each other, they brush against each other as they maneuver to their next big or little choice, their next big or little decision.

And they never stop to think how cool that is.

One choice different in the past could have made that encounter impossible. One varied decision might have led them to completely different parts of the street, town, country, or world.

And they never stop to think how cool that is.

Just something to think about.
