Finally, my favorite post of the week! Every Sunday morning I take some of the photos that you have uploaded to the Facebook wall, and I post them here. I love This is Beautiful You because it gives me (and everybody else) an incredible glimpse of who we all are. It puts a face on the awesome people coming here. It gives us a beautiful idea of the uniqueness and diversity of the followers here at SDL. More than anything, it shows all of us just how beautiful we each can be.
Anyway, thank you for sharing a small part of yourselves. It’s my honor to put the spotlight on you today. This is beautiful you.

Cheryl Elaine Smith for being the best Nana in the world, both of them are always there when I need them, and are wonderful grandparents to our children. They would give the shirts off their backs if someone needed it or if they even thought someone needed it more than them.

Crystal Dawn Barnes, my cousin and friend since we were just little girls. A beautiful woman, inside and out. There was never a better friend in the whole world and I love her with my whole heart. Even with her own health struggles, she's a constant source of encouragement and support for others.
I cannot tag her as she is only three and has yet to set up a Facebook profile.... But my daughter, Samantha Ruth Turner, is the epitome of beauty. Sweet, funny, smart and caring. My life is richer because she calls ME mommy.
I can't tag her because she doesn't have FB, but my daughter Hannah is my profile pic. She's one tough little girl. She has had 3 eye surgeries and is such a tough little girl. She brightens everyone's life. She is always happy, she's funny and loving. She makes my world so much brighter.

Shelley Smith Barber is beautiful inside and out. I think she's extra beautiful because she devotes her time to helping people get fit. She is passionate and hard-working. A year ago I was 45 pounds heavier- but she's learned to encourage, push and challenge me to be a better, healthier me....and she's a great friend.

I think Leah Bryant is beautiful. She is brave and smart and kind, and has a smile that can light up a room. And she rocks the bald head like nobody else can! When a lot of people would just give up, she's still fighting, proving that cancer is no match for her!
I couldn't tag everyone near and dear to me, so I shared it, instead! :-) Every day should be Beautiful You day! As I tell my children, when you think of yourself or anyone else as physically flawed, you are telling God that He messed up...and since He makes no mistakes, He also makes no "ugly" people!! We may choose for our behavior to be ugly, but our physical features are exactly how God wanted them to be, and who are we to try and change that with surgery or pounds of makeup?!?! Love God, love others & love yourself!!!!! YOU are BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
