Epic attention-grabbing title. I know.
Ahem.
Please watch the following video. It’s only 51 seconds long.
You are about to witness something crazier than Cirque du Soleil, hotter than Guatemala on a summer day, and more amazing than a pig riding on a monkey.
Yes, the next 51 seconds will change your life.
This video is called, Balancing on a Big Ol’ Ball with My Kid.
Go ahead, take a deep breath.
Smile.
Close your eyes.
Smile again.
Watch it again.
Your life will never be the same.
And that’s a good thing.
Dan Pearce, Single Dad Laughing

My husband played this way with our children before he died. This was so much fun to watch! Brings back a smile and lots of warm memories. Keep up the fun!

You, good sir, make me even more excited to be a father someday. Thanks for all of your inspiration. Well done on the balancing act too!
Lol! Careful, though, we had one of those pop when our oldest was two weeks old... bouncing the poor restless baby [okay, the screaming, colicky, red-faced crank] to sleep, POP and daddy was flat on his back, baby on her bum on the floor. He was only 200lbs, she was 10...
I love 'em, but don't trust those darn things! [says the mom who desperately wants to play the same game with her kids!! Maybe on carpet... with the older ones..]
If my son wasn't 6ft2in I'd totally do this. Absolutely hilarious!
@Kathleen in Canada I'm just going to say this. You should do it anyway.
@Single Dad Laughing @Kathleen in Canada
ROFLMBO... if I do, I'll videotape it.
Thanks I needed that :)
wish all kifs had someone like that in their life! I wish I did now! I like to play.
This brightened my day :)
Just for kicks, most of Guatemala actually is not very hot. Their elevation is pretty high so there are very few hot regions. It gets warm near the pacific coast and it can get warm in the rainforest areas, but not hot as many people think. I'm not hating on your metaphors... just spreading some Guatemala love!
@MelissaRodriguezLuna Duly noted. Metaphor hater. Hehe.
That was awesome! I loved his constant infectious giggles!
Unbelievably cute!
*little
Oh. My. Gosh! I said this in the comments of the blog.. but have to say it here as well. Noah has the most precious and infectious laugh! I seriously giggled like crazy while my dog, Hamlet, stared at me... I believe he may think I am slightly off lol.. this was a priceless video. So fun and silly.. I am going to have to watch this again! The fact that you spend time with him like this is awesome. May not seem that way to you.. but to those of us who didn't have moments like this as a child.. it took you back.. made you feel young again and a oittle wistful... AND to those of us who DID have these types of moments.. reminded of the love and joy of our childhoods. Now I want to try it lol
my son loved this, and now wants me to do it with him LOL
Lets do it again! ;)
Yeah I have a crush on him too. My have to try that with my three year old. He thinks he's an acrobat anyway.
Man! I can't wait to do that!!
Ok. No lie, you look like Tom Green here. :)
There is nothing more contagious than his laughter the best part of the whole thing was how eager he is to do it all over again at the end.
Love It!!
my baby is 21.... I need to go snatch a smaller kid. shoot.
Awesome!!! Alyssa would flippin' love this and what a great core work out! Lol
He is going to grow up with amazing memories.....great job Dan! More parents need to realize it's the little things that mean the most to kids.
Yes.. we are all in love with Dan.. *sigh*
Don't you realize that everytime you post something like this, you make every woman on this blog fall in love with you? Well, I can't speak for the guys...but ladies, am I right??
