At least once each week I get sucked into something completely random on Google. And… I don’t get any work done. So, instead of letting that time go to waste, I decided I might as well share whatever randomness it was that sucked part of my life away.

This week, visually similar images!

Over on Google, and more specifically on Google Images, you can upload any photo and it will tell you where the photo is found on the internet.

But that’s not all, folks! It will also show you “visually similar” images to any photo you upload.

So, I picked a nice portrait of myself, one in which I think I look at least a kicked turd beyond decent, and uploaded it.

At first, I was flattered. I mean, look who I was being compared to:
