A-Day-Too-Late

Every Wednesday I ask the same question over on the Single Dad Laughing Facebook Page…

“If you could go back just to yesterday and tell yourself one thing, what would it be?”

I honestly think it’s my favorite question to ask because every single week the answer is going to be different for all of us.

For example, this week, if I could go back to just yesterday, I would tell myself, “Your ex is going to hop in and out of your life long enough to tell you some very sad news. Be prepared. And have better words ready for her when she does. She’ll need them.”

Or a lighter-hearted one. I would also have told myself, “Dude. Be more careful while you drink your coffee or you dribble all over your favorite white shirt.” Hahaha.

Anyway, these were 33 of my favorite replies to my question last week. Some powerful. Some funny. Some sad. Some interesting. Some… just ________.

It’s amazing what kind of perspective a day can bring, isn’t it?
