Advertise on SDL
If there was any blog that could deliver a world-class audience to your front door, Single Dad Laughing would be it. Get way more bang for your buck here and support incredible blogging while you’re at it. There is a serious reason why more and more people and businesses are turning to blogs for their advertising… they have dedicated followers, they have respected voices, and they have clout with those who follow. Single Dad Laughing started in mid-2010 and quickly became one of the fastest growing blogs in history. SDL gets between 400,000 and 1.2 million page-views each month (in the non-summer months). It is by far the biggest “dad blog” in the world and ranks among the top of all parent blogs. My readers are 84% female, 14% male mainly between the ages of 24 and 41.
Now, for advertising options… I have several options to advertise with me on Single Dad Laughing.

1. Advertisements throughout Website. My rotating ads are run through Cox Digital Network, and are a great way to advertise. Placement includes the main banners, side banners, in-post-ads, footer ads, etc. To view options for advertising, click here.

2. Text Ads -I just started an “Awesomest Freakin’ People on Earth” section on the sidebar of nearly every single Single Dad Laughing page for other bloggers, authors, artists, businesses, etc. The text ads should stay within 78 characters including title (believe me, more than that and people don’t read them). Text ads will run 30 days from when I first add them. Cost is $100.00 and only $50 for the first month so you can see how effective it is! Click here to place an order for a text ad!

3. Facebook Shout-out – I currently have more than 67,500 fans on Facebook, and it is by far the most incredible way to get a fast response. This is for bloggers only (sorry, no businesses), and whatever post I shout-out has to fit my demographic and must be classy. Shout-outs will be offered at peak Facebook times. One shout-out from me has brought other bloggers as many as 3,000 new subscribed followers and tens of thousands of visits to their blogs. I’m very protective of my Facebook shout-outs, so you gotta have an awesome blog post that has already proved itself to be popular among your current followers.

4. Twitter Shoutout – I currently have more than 5,700 followers on Twitter. If you have a link to a blog post, or anything else, I’ll be happy to tweet it for you (so long as it’s classy. or funny. or both).

5. Blog Post – I will upload a blog post about you, your product, and how amazingly awesome you are. It can include one image (no bigger than 460 x 460 pixels). I have around 100,000 subscribed followers (plus lots of visitors) who come to SDL via different methods, and this will give you some great bang for your buck. Prices will depend on if you want me to write about you or simply include an image linked to your site.

6. Product Giveaway. I constantly host a giveaway on my contest page. This page is setup to encourage participants to send their family and friends over (to vote) which gives extra exposure. Besides the contest page, I do a blog post about each giveaway, which will feature your product. Total exposure is usually over 100,000 views. The contest will generally run two to three weeks. Cost is $350-$475 worth of incredible product to giveaway (multiple winners of lesser-cost products is okay), and an equal amount of identical product sent to me to test (or sell, or give away).

7. Featured in Header Gallery – Almost every page on Single Dad Laughing runs the “features” gallery as a header (large images that animate in and out). I’ll place your ad in the 1st position (right after the SDL header/branding graphic appears) for 30 days. Image must be 975 x 320. If you want to be seriously noticed. This is the spot on Single Dad Laughing. I will never have more than one ad running in the gallery at a time.
