Some believe it to be a publicity stunt. Others believe Facebook’s creator when he says it’s “how you prepare yourself to take care of almost a billion people.”
A hotel housekeeper caught Mark Zuckerberg in a bathtub full of Mac n’ Cheese yesterday when she showed up for nightly turn-down service. The CEO and Founder of Facebook apparently was neck-deep in noodles, singing along to oldies when she unintentionally interrupted him in his bathroom.
Zuckerberg denied the incident took place but was forced to admit to it after a photographer captured a picture of him with a macaroni noodle lodged in one ear.
“Don’t judge the ways that leaders like me gain inspiration,” he said of the incident. “I have almost a billion people to take care of. Do you know what it’s like to have almost a billion people demand things of you, almost a billion people expect great innovation from you, and almost a billion people depend on you for their entire social lives?” He paused and then continued finding ways to insert the phrase “almost a billion” into his lecture.
When asked how Mac n’ Cheese gave him inspiration, he replied, “fill a tub with it, get in, let it mold into every nook and cranny of your body, and then you’ll get it. Then you’ll understand. It’s about getting back to the classics and losing yourself in comfort things. That’s how you prepare yourself to take care of almost a billion people.”
