(To see all updates for fixing the MemeCabin App, click here)
OMG, peeps. We had no idea what kind of problems we were getting into when the MemeCabin servers first went down the night we launched the app 12 days ago!
What we thought would be one little fix, turned out to be a bigger needed fix, which turned into basically pulling in a team of over-priced coding experts (that was fun) and gutting all of MemeCabin, rebuilding much of its infrastructure from the ground up, and putting out a new update to fix everything. Thus the reason you haven’t had memes on your devices for several days.
But it’s done! The app is working SO good and SO fast and should be able to handle just about anything we throw at it (famous last words? We hope not.) It will be a lot faster on mobile connections. WAY faster on wi-fi connections. And everything should just work… awesomely. At least that’s the hope. We submitted the update to Google Play and iTunes yesterday.
One small problem though, Apple often takes 8-10 days to approve updates. But…
We just got notice that Apple is being kind enough to expedite the review process of this MemeCabin update, so barring any unforeseen hiccups in the approval, you should see a new update show up today or tomorrow at the latest! It’s in the review process as we speak.
Of course, it’s not approved until it’s approved, so cross your fingers with us. We could all use some really good news with this!
